How to handle annoying aggresive dogs?

Ok, i live with my grandparent with 10 dogs and 1 cat in the house, most and small yelping dog but they can be aggressive and try to bit and bark at me like a stranger everytime I walk by... I do not know how to deal with this. My grandmother thinks highly of dogs almost like people are put on this earth to worship dogs and serve them instead of god. Its really strange and almost degrading but she would never permitt anyone to call down the dogs or put them out side or disipline the. They even have their own bedroom, what to do?
