I accidentally kicked my dog.. bad?

i was asleep and my dog was barking i get up to see my sisters friend at the door yet he wouldnt stop barking so i want to go push him away and i kicked him by accident, i accidently got the scab on his nose and it was bleeding he did make a really loud yelp, even worse the kid thought i was kicking him like that on purpose i felt so bad i almost started crying. i cleaned his nose up and now hes walking around like nothings wrong i really feel horrible help me
