What almost ate my ddog!?!?!? ?

well, id think it was a bear, exept that it was yelping and looked like a cat. it cant be a wolf cuz wolves dont have that cat-like feature. mountain lions dont yelp. ur dog is 16 pounds, so its a small dog, like a puppy or chiwaua or dachsund or basset hound, etc., so allmost anything would hunt that. foxes are too small. its probably a coyote! one time there was a coyote in the middle of the road and it stared straight at me! yep, there known for that.
