If you discipline a dog and it's accidently injured, is it considered illegal?

She's your boyfriend's dog and you seem to have completely taken over. If she's jealous of you then him ignoring her isn't going to help anything. You said the dog has never behaved this way with anyone so the problem is you. You NEVER hit an animal as a way of discipline and certainly not so hard that the dog yelps and tries to bite you. Your boyfriend needs to take over before you kill the poor thing and yes, you are an animal abuser.
