Yelp what can i do now?

ok so i applied for more than several jobs all around chicago. i wanted to work at the wit hotel, the renaissance hotel, and the hilton towers downtown. i already sent in an application to the wit, i applied online at the renaissance and the hilton. its been a month now and no one has contacted me. i called in at the wit and they said they didn't receive anything, so i resent it and the guy said he would shoot me an email when he had someone look over it. since then i applied for several other part time jobs. and no one has sent me anything. all i got is receipts in my inbox from the employer websites(those automated emails) for thanks for applying. what should i do now? i sent over 20+ online apps and over 15+ paper apps to stores and restaurant's. if i call the companies/stores back about my applications/resumes what do i say? and what would you suggest on trying to get an interview? i'm 16 and live on the south side of Chicago (sophomore in high school with excellent grades and tons of certificates/medals and recommendations.
