Limping pup after jumping from couch?!?

He's 4 months old, hound/terrier mix. He jumped off the couch lastnight. Didn't yelp but he limped around but still plays "normally" - he doesn't mind when u touch/move it. And today it seems he's not limping as much, and he's playing around like always. Should we give it a few days before we go the vet route?
